Jordan Quinn

Software Engineer with a Master's in Computer Science from RIT, specializing in programming languages and tools, along with significant AI projects. I love playing with compilers and researching emerging PL technologies. My Master's project examined the feasibility of bleeding-edge optimization techniques in the MLton compiler.

I also have robotics experience, having interned as a Robotics Systems Engineer at NASA JPL. Here, I worked with the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover ground team, building simulation tools using the rover's flight software and contributing to their planning software.

Now I work on personal projects, particularly well-defined programs in functional languages. I am interested in agents and their use in personal productivity and learning applications, and my projects focus on that.

Outside of my development and professional life, I am interested in ethics and political philosophy and spend some free time doing advocacy for both. I write polemics and responses discussing these along with veganism.
